What to expect
The risk with upholstery is not the dirt, it is the fabric. Too much water shrinks it, the wrong chemistry makes colors run, and uneven drying leaves rings. Steven tests every piece in a hidden spot first and chooses the method based on what the fabric can handle, not on habit.
Most pieces are ready to sit on the same evening. A twenty-year-old sofa that a customer thought was finished is one of the jobs in the photos below.

The process

Fiber type, age, and the manufacturer's cleaning code, read before anything touches the fabric.

Colorfastness test
A hidden-spot test for bleeding and ring marks, so problems are caught before they happen.

Spot pre-treatment
Enzymes or solvents matched to the stain, whether that is coffee, oils, sweat, ink, or a pet.

Controlled extraction
Low-moisture or hot-water, chosen for what the fabric can take, then a rinse and a deodorizer.
